Treatment
If you suspect a fracture or a dislocation support the arm in a comfortable position and seek medical help immediately.
Sprains
Can be caused by a fall onto an outstretched hand or by a sudden or repeated twisting/turning movement.
Treatment
Stop playing the sport that caused the injury to rest the wrist.
Use an ice pack at regular intervals.

Elevate and support the wrist, this will help to reduce swelling.

Tendonitis
Often caused by repeated movements causing inflammation of one or more of the tendons at the wrist, thumb or fingers.
Treatment
Stop the activity you think is causing the problem to rest the sprain.
